Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of Tally ("the Service"), a web-based quoting tool operated by Tally ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

2. The Service

Tally provides tools for tradespeople to upload construction drawings, count and mark items, calculate materials and labour costs, and generate quotations. The Service is provided "as is" and is intended as an estimating aid, not a substitute for professional judgement.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when registering. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Free and Paid Plans

The Service offers a free plan with limited features and a paid Pro plan. Paid plans are billed annually as a one-off payment. Access is granted for 12 months from the date of payment. We do not auto-renew subscriptions. Prices may change, but existing paid periods will be honoured at the price paid.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including drawings, project data, and quotations. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service.

6. AI Features

The Service may use third-party AI providers to analyse drawing images for symbol detection. When you use AI features, individual sheet images are sent to the AI provider for analysis. We do not send your personal information, project names, or client details to AI providers. AI-generated results are suggestions only and require your review and approval before affecting any quotation.

7. Accuracy and Liability

Tally is an estimating tool. Quantities, costs, and quotations generated by the Service are estimates based on the rules and data you configure. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any calculation, detection, or quotation. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all outputs before use. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the Service's outputs.

8. Refunds

If you are not satisfied with the Pro plan, contact us within 14 days of payment for a full refund. After 14 days, no refunds are provided for the remainder of the billing period.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms. On termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless we are required by law to retain it.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
